🎉 25 YEARS OF INTERREG ALPINE SPACE – AN EVENT WITH VISION

A milestone anniversary, a landmark programme, a unique setting: In May, the Interreg Alpine Space Programme celebrated 25 years of successful transnational cooperation at the Salzburg Congress. The event brought together guests from politics, academia, project practice, and the media.

As event agency, we conceptualized and delivered a two-day anniversary celebration that seamlessly combined reflection, exchange, and future-shaping within an inspiring framework. Under the motto “Scaling new peaks,” the stage was transformed into a think tank for the challenges and opportunities facing the Alpine region.Following a relaxed networking lunch, charismatic host Amira Awad kicked off the first day of the event. The programme featured powerful, personal, and visionary keynote speeches by Governor Wilfried Haslauer and professional mountaineer and extreme climber Stefan Glowacz. A dynamic panel discussion followed, where stakeholders from seven Alpine countries explored bold responses to the region’s future challenges. A lovingly curated exhibition brought 25 years of project history vividly to life-tangible, engaging, and impressive.

In the evening, guests were treated to a multisensory celebration in the magnificent halls of the Salzburg Residenz: beer tasting, a sustainable dinner, music by students of the Mozarteum, and DJ sets with a festival vibe. A night to remember-and to connect.

The second day featured four interactive sessions designed to foster idea generation, collaboration, and strategic dialogue.

A successful event in the heart of Salzburg that demonstrated how storytelling, content depth, and emotional experiences can come together to create a lasting brand experience.
